About the Willard Ice Building

The Willard Ice Building was built in 1984 and houses the Illinois Department of Revenue along with the Department of Aging, Lottery, Gaming Board and Liquor Control. There is also a day care center and cafeteria in the building. A multi-level parking structure is attached to the east end of the building. At the west end is a below grade loading dock and service area with a parking deck above. On the north and south sides are drop off and visitor parking areas. Below the south drop off/parking area is a large records storage facility. The building covers a three block area and contains over three quarters of a million square feet. The building is occupied and operational 24/7 year round.
